The Unscammable Teaching Plan

Unscammable breaks the complex topic of digital security into 28 lessons taught over three phases. Each phase takes between 1.5 and 2 hours to teach. But, you can break it up in any way that makes sense for your group.

Here’s what each phase covers:

  • Phase 1: Secure Your Devices & Protect Your Data: Teach your learners how to build robust defences by setting up strong passcodes, biometric security, and smart backup solutions—plus a handful of other skills that protect their personal data.

  • Phase 2: Manage Online Accounts & Passwords: Using a password manager is mission-critical today. In this phase, we dive into the free password manager that comes with their device. We also set up a personal contact card for Apple devices to prep them for Phase 3.

  • Phase 3: Maintain Privacy & Navigate Safely: Finally, they learn about device settings to keep their data private, control website tracking, and learn how to set up Emergency Contacts and other personal safety features (device dependent).
